Monthly Minutes of the Circus City Cyclists

Treasurer’s Report: Accepted as submitted by Chris Betzner.

Discussion:

Metric Century: IBC Membership renewal due, $50.00, gets free ad; Can get more verbiage if payment is made 30 days after event per number of riders. Motion was made by Dick and seconded by Rich to do this; motion carried. Can wait until February to update Brochure layout and design. Chris has list of sponsors contacted previous years, and members will begin contacting them. $50.00 donation will get sponsor logo on T-shirt. Letters will go out the first part of January to police, fire, mayor, school, etc.

Nickel Plate Trail Report: Indy Hiking Club walked the trail in November; approximately 40 people participated. No report on last meeting. Bill reported that 3 individuals had letters sent to them by lawyer about improper things done to the trail close to their property.

Membership Renewals: Bill will mail out renewals. Rich, Dick, Linda and Miles all renewed at the meeting.

Website Report: Mike did not get to talk to Dave.

2003 Nominating Committee Report: No one contacted Chris or Miles. Bill will enclose letter with renewals asking for volunteers and members to attend meetings. Some suggestions made were to stop meeting monthly, to have committee for Century meet when needed (concentrating on Metric and weekly rides).

Ski Trip: no report

Bill asked if Club would want to give donation to Christian Church for use for monthly meetings; Dick made motion to do so, Rich seconded; motion carried.

Rich made motion to reimburse Linda for $50.00 for supplies for picnic; motion was seconded by Janet; motion carried.
