Monthly Minutes of the Circus City Cyclists

Absent: Treasurer Chris Betzner is on duty at station 2

Meeting Minutes: Minutes of the September meeting were accepted as submitted by Cathy Click.

Communications: A newsletter was passed to those present from Breakaway Bicycle Club.

Treasurer’s Report: Accepted as submitted by Chris Betzner.

Discussion:

Metric Century Report: Chris Betzner is working on setting up committees. Date of the ride will be June 28, 2003

Nickel Plate Trail Report: Bill Click reported that at the last trail meeting Joan Green spoke. Friends will form 501c3 to get grants. There will be a workday scheduled for Denver soon; Bill will give at least a 1-week E-mail notice.

Membership Renewals & New Members: Dick Hammond, Gary Thomas. Reminded that from now until the end of this year membership is free.

Website: Mike Donaldson reported he needs to meet with Dave Sutton in order to get some answers to a few questions and then will be able to get the site running.

Club Incentives: A short discussion on how to keep members involved in meetings, rides, and other activities were held. Bill said he would send Bob Blong and Linda McCoy a copy of some of the ideas he had sent out in September to those who attended that meeting. The topic was tabled for a month.

Polar Bear Ride: Ernie passed out entry forms.

Nominating Committee: Bill will take care of this. New club officers are to be voted on in December.

Leftover snacks from the Metric Century Ride were passed out to members present. Bob Blong will take the Pepsi to Helping Hands.
