Monthly Minutes of the Circus City Cyclists

Meeting Minutes: Minutes from July meeting were submitted and approved.

Treasury Report: With Chris absent, a report will be provided at the next meeting.

Discussion:

Nickel Plate Trail, Inc. Report: (Bill Click) The group continues to work on attaining their 501C3 status. Work on the trail has been concentrated on the section from Lover’s Lane to 550 N. Horse riders will use this section during Heritage Days. If anyone desires to hike the trail, a permit must be obtained. If you would like to get a permit please contact Mike Kuepper. Students from North Western University to work on (2) of the bridges on the trail.

Membership Renewals & New Member Report: (0) - NEW MEMBERS; (0) – RENEWALS.

Other Business:

Ice Chest Purchase: Krogers had all of the summer Ice chests on sell to get rid of them. Miles Straly purchased (10) chests at a great price. The chests were full of other things like thermoses, smaller coolers and other items. Rich Holler made a motion, and Mike Donaldson made a second to reimburse Miles $86.43 for the purchase. These items will be of great use during our future Metric Century rides.

2003 Circus City Metric Century Shirts: More shirts will be ordered for some of the supporters of the metric. Miles Straly made a motion and a second made by Rich Holler to set a price of $7.00 each for any club members who might be interested in purchasing one of these shirts. E-mail will go out to all the members for this offer with a dead line of Sunday, August the 17^th.

Night Dinner Ride: There was a discussion about the club having a night dinner ride. Date and place yet to be determined. E-mail will be sent out to all the club members to get a conscience of what would work. Everyone should contact Bill Click with his or her ideas.
