2004 Metric Century: (Chris Betzner) Chris Betzner volunteered to be the Metric Century Coordinator for this year.  We will work towards a more committee run organization.  As it stands right now, the committees will be SAGS, Registration, Food, Sponsorship, Route and Mapping, and Equipment and Supplies.  Currently we have some positions preliminarily spoke for.  Registration by Mike Donaldson, Equipment and Supplies by Miles Straly and Route and Mapping by Bill Click.

Nickel Plate Trail, Inc. Report: (Bill Click) Currently the Nickel Plate Trail board is meeting with a landscape, architectural and design firm to look at setting up a master plan for the trail development.

The application for the 501C3 has been submitted, however it could take the state weeks to possibly months to process and respond to the application.

The trail area between Wallic Road and 300 S has been cleared.

The Kokomo Rotary is still a possibility for sponsorship for a trailhead near Kokomo.

Relay For Life: Look at setting up riders to ride a stationary bike to help raise money.  Tabled and will be added to next month’s agenda.

Info from November’s Minutes: (The club is being asked to consider riding a stationary bike for the Relay For Life, which will be in the spring of 2004.  We would need to setup riders to ride for certain time intervals during the event.  We would get people to sponsor us for an amount of money for each hour we ride.  This Item will be placed on next month’s agenda.)

Year End Event / New Season Kick-off: The event would be after the 1st of the year.  Tabled and will be added to next month’s agenda.

Info from November’s Minutes: (There was a discussion of having a dinner at the Peru Civic Center after the 1st of the year, however we may move that back farther and make this more of an event for “kicking off” the riding season in the spring.  It was discussed that maybe a cookout or some kind of meal at the depot in Peru in March or April.)
