Monthly Minutes of the Circus City Cyclists

Meeting Minutes: Minutes from August meeting were submitted and approved.

Treasury Report: Reports were submitted and approved.

Discussion:

Nickel Plate Trail Donation: There would be the possibility of CCC helping with the cost of the 501C3. This would run from $500 to $700 dollars.

2003 Metric Shirts For Sponsors: Sponsor shirts have been in for a few months. The member who got the sponsor is asked to get their shirt and deliver it to the sponsor.

Nickel Plate Trail, Inc. Report: (Bill Click) The Nickel Plate Board meet with Sitescape and also with Lehman and Lehman. There is a full color brochure for the trail that is being readied for the membership drive once the 501c3 has been acquired. The “Scout” bridge at Wallick Road is almost ready for the concrete pour. An engineer will inspect. The next Nickel Plate meeting will be on October the 29^th at 7:00PM. If anyone would like to walk the trail you need to get with Mike Kuepper to get a permit.

Membership Renewals & New Member Report: (0) - NEW MEMBERS; (0) – RENEWALS. There have been (8) membership from last year that have not been renewed this year. There was a motion and 2^nd that they be removed from our rooster to get it up to date. Here is a list of the members removed, Bob & Alexandria Blong, Michael Christenson, Mark & Cindy Hartinger, George McCarty, David Mygrant, Blaine O’Neil, Garrett W. Palmer, and John Savage.

Other Business:

Cole Porter Run: There was a discussion with a motion and 2^nd to sponsor the Cole Porter Run for $150.00.

Night Dinner Ride: Continued the discussion about the club having a night dinner ride. Dates discussed are October 23^rd, November 6^th, or 13^th. We would meet at Miami’s Fort at 6:00PM and ride to the Denver Café

End Of The Year Dinner: There was a discussion of having a dinner at the Peru Civic Center after the 1^st of the year.

Club Rides: The club rides will continue as weather permits, with the following changes; Thursday ride at Miami’s Fort to meet at 5:00PM, Saturday ride at the shop to meet at 9:30AM, and the Sunday ride will continue at Owen’s Marathon meeting at 2:00PM.

2003 Club Miles: The 2003 club miles will conclude the weekend of the Hilly 100, however with the ride continuing as possible, we will track miles after that date as 2004 miles.

Nominations And Elections of 2003 Officers: Nominations for 2004 Officers will be submitted in November with elections of 2004 Officers in December.
