2004 Metric Century: (Chris Betzner) We are looking in to the normal sponsors for this year. Also looking for any new sponsors that may be available.

Dick Schaffhausen will be handling the shirts again this year.

We may also check with Logansport Calligan as an alternate for our bottled water supplier.

Thursdays at Miami Fort in Peru at 5:00PM, Saturdays at Breakaway Bike & Fitness Shop in Peru at 9:00AM, and Sundays at Owens Marathon in Mexico at 2:00PM. We anticipate our first official rides to be Saturday, April the 3rd and Sunday April the 4th.

Nickel Plate Trail, Inc. Report: (Miles Straly) All the T-Grant paperwork has been turned filed. It will be the winter of 2004 before anything is known about rather the trail will receive any funds. They are checking into the possibility of a $10,000 grant from Bikes Belong and other organizations.

The Nickel Plate Trail, Inc has received its not-for-profit status from the IRS.

Color brochures will be sent out soon to kick off the membership drive.

Relay For Life: We will be setting up riders to raise money for the Relay for Life. Dates are June the 18th through the 19th.

New Season Kick-off: We will be riding to Rochester on March the 27th as our primary date with April the 3rd as our fall back date. We will meet at Miami Fort in Peru and start at 10:00 AM. This will give us an approximate sixty-mile ride. Rich Holler will be our ride leader and we will have lunch at the Streamliner. If anyone is unable to ride the total distance we would invite them to ride up and have lunch with us and have someone pick them up at the Streamliner or meet us there for lunch and ride back to Peru with us.
