Communications: None

Discussion:

2004 Metric Century: (Chris Betzner) Follow-up Report was given. Please see attached follow-up & financial report.

Suggestions that were that were discussed for next year were flyers in local businesses, possibly removing the circus from the brochure due to lack of interest, and the need for a new ride director.

Nickel Plate Trail, Inc. Report: (Bill Click) They will know more about the RPT grant by the end of July which would consist of ~$200.000 in funds for the trail.

Relay For Life: (Chris Betzner) Follow-up report was given. There were a few people who didn’t show for the time slots. It was discussed that the club not participate next year.

Xenia Ride: (Bill Click) There are currently (4) or (5) people signed-up to go so far. Anyone else is welcome to come, you will have to make your own arrangements for lodging.

Membership Renewals & New Member Report: (1) – RENEWAL: John Miller; (0) – NEW MEMBERSHIPS: A second reminder was sent out to several members who had not renewed this year and will now be removed from our rooster since no response was received from them. REMOVED: Rocklin Ash (2003), Robin Armstrong (2003), Ron Gunningham (2001), Angela Gamester (2003), Charlie Hubler (2003), Scott Kaufman (2003), Craig Langley (2003), Todd Lieninger (2000), Richard Reese (2003), and Jeff Swift (1998). Membership is down 18% from last year, (39) members in 2003 to (32) members currently in 2004.

Other Business:

Suspension Of Meetings: Several reasons were discussed, however mostly due to lack of meeting attendance and general lack of interest in club activities a motion was made by Bill Click to suspend club meetings until November. A second was made by Chris Betzner. November is our normal month for nominations. We are hoping that if anyone is interested they will show their support by attending the meeting and possibly hold an officer’s position for the upcoming year. If attendance is not adequate for officer nominations, then the club is prepared to stop meeting and turn the moneys over to another organization. Top of the list is the Nickel Plate Trail.

Meeting was adjourned.
