2004 Metric Century: (Chris Betzner) We will meet at
the Fire Station to stuff rider’s bags on Thursday, june the 26th.
We are down to needing just a few more people to man the SAG’s.
Dick Schaffhausen will be ordering (150) rider shirts and
(25) worker shirts. The shirts will have the four color photo of dam at the
mill at Pipe Creek.
Nickel Plate Trail, Inc. Report: (Miles Straly) The
meeting with Bill friend went OK. Bill was asking the Surface Transportation
Board to undo the railbanking, which is very doubtful to happen. NPT will be
trying for matching money from the DNR.
Relay For Life: (Chris Betzner) From Previous Meeting: The
event will be June the 18th and 19th. Chris Betzner will
be the club’s captain for this event and is currently working on signing up
people to spin for the event. There is a $10.00 charge for each person who
rides, which the club will pay. We are looking for those who would like to
sign-up for an hour or so. We are looking for riders to fill many empty slots.
Xenia Ride: (Bill Click) There are currently (4) or (5)
people signed-up to go so far. Anyone else is welcome to come, you will have
to make your own arrangements for lodging.
Membership Renewals & New Member Report: (2) –
RENEWAL: Mike Kuepper, and Jeffery Suire; (0) – NEW MEMBERSHIPS: Currently
the club is about 75% renewed based on last year’s membership numbers.
Letters were sent out to (11) members who are considered pass due on renewal
for this year. (Robin Armstrong. Rocklin Ash, Ron Cunningham, Angela Gamester,
Charlie and Susie Hubler, Scott Kaufman, Craig and Sherry Langley, Todd
Leininger, John Miller, Richard Swift, and Jeff Swift.
