Meeting Minutes: (Mike Donaldson) Minutes from April meeting were submitted and approved.

Treasury Report: (Chris Betzner) Report from April was submitted and approved.

Communications: Columbus Sports Publications

Discussion:

2004 Metric Century: (Chris Betzner) We spent $307.40 for 2,000, two color, folded brochures and some of these will be mailed out to our normal Metric mailing list.

Currently Dick Schaffhausen is looking at a shirtfront with a full color picture.

We are still looking for possible entertainment for (2) of the SAGS.

Habitat For Humanity: (Miles Straly) Miles Straly and Brend Kenny rode this ride. Some of the days were very wind and cold.

Nickel Plate Trail, Inc. Report: (Miles Straly) Bill friend and others have hired a lawyer to try to kill the trail. They are raising the question of ownership. The trail board will be meeting with Bill.

Relay For Life: (Chris Betzner) From Previous Meeting: The event will be June the 18^th and 19^th. Chris Betzner will be the club’s captain for this event and is currently working on signing up people to spin for the event. There is a $10.00 charge for each person who rides, which the club will pay. We are looking for those who would like to sign-up for an hour or so. We are looking for a name for the team.

Bike Rodeo: (Chris Betzner) There was a low turnout this year. There were (250) helmets to give out with only about (100) children attending. Possibly due to it being Mother’s Day weekend. There were (12) bikes given away.

Xenia Ride: (Bill Click) No report

Membership Renewals & New Member Report: (3) – RENEWAL: Jeffery Bowyer, Jane Mannies, and Ernie Strawn; (1) – NEW MEMBERSHIPS: Michael Mullet; Currently the club is about 54% renewed based on last year’s membership numbers. There are still (~13) memberships from last year that have not yet renewed. An e-mail or letter will be sent out in May as a reminder.

Other Business:

Secretary’s Position: (Miles Straly) We will be looking for someone to fill in as secretary after July’s meeting.
