Miami County Trail:  Next meeting will be Friday, August 3rd at 3:00 PM at the museum.  Miles, John, Wally and Jeff Bingham met with representatives from the chamber of commerce and the museum on June 19th and routes were laid out.

Spaghetti ride:  Eddie Garcia is hosting a Tuesday ride originating from Eagles Pointe.  Location is 2407 Lowry Avenue, Peru or at the Quick Mart at Eagles Pointe.  Start time is 5:30 PM.  It is a 29- mile route thru Pipe Creek.  End time is 7:30 PM with spaghetti dinner courtesy of the Garcia’s.

Nickel Plate Trail:  Miles gave an update.  Harry Denham with help from others have cleared and graded the trail from 7th St. to Main St .  The area is to be paved next year.  Once the trail is extended over the Wabash River next year the section will be paved from the river to the River Walk.  On the stretch from Bunker Hill to Miami , there had to be an appraisal of the rail-banked land.  The Nickel Plate is to buy it and then donate it as part of the matching 80/20 grant.  The appraisal is to be done in one week or so.  $500 has been spent on weed killer for the Bunker Hill to Miami stretch.  No date has been set for a fat tire ride on the unpaved sections of the trail.

Fat Tire Trail Ride:  Tentative date of Sunday, July 29 to take in the Salamonie Reservoir Trails.  Breakaway Bike has maps.  We would leave from Miami ’s Fort at 1:00 PM.  Please e-mail me if you are interested in this ride.

Club Jerseys :  The jerseys and other apparel items are in and look great.

Miles noted that the corporate challenge ride went well.  First place finishes in respective divisions went to Bob Blong, Alex Blong, and Zac See.  Miles finished 2nd.
